because when u want to compare ur self with others ,u surly compare ur self with someone who is good ..
I man u will not compare ur self with someone bad ..

Look; I will explain to you what is meant by no.3.

Let us suppose that your little sister who is very bad at math (got 5 out of 20 in a final test), but her friend that is very excellent in a math subject got flying colors “perfect points”. Now, it is not too smart of you or your brothers to tell your little poor sister: ‘ Listen, you, a little naughty girl, yeah, you should compare yourself to your friend who always gets high marks so that you can arrive at the top, what an idiot!…etc. ‘. Hold on, please; here, we need to compare her to herself but to others; in other words, we could encourage her by giving her a certain gift if she does better in next quiz. Next time, she may get 10out of 20, yea, that is good, she is making progress.

Generally, comparing ourselves with others leads to hostility and (HATRED) in the short or long-term, which contradicts no.8 ( LOVE)

I gotta elaborate on that a little bit more, I totally believe that one should teach him/herself or his/her brothers, sisters, and students NOT TO COMPETE WITH OTHERS. The message which I want to convey for you is that your COMPETITION must be with yourself BUT NOT with OTHERS due to shortcomings & disadvantages when it is about competing with others.

I do agree with you when you referred to the point that we like to model the good guys NOT the bad ones.

Nowadays, many people are gasping for a model to follow instead of
craving for creativity to achieve; it only reassures my idea of the sort-of-spoon- fed Syrian students. Others’ modeling means one important thing, others or good people“ in your words ” as like ( Ahmed, Sami, Michel, Joan, Tareq, Riyad, jooan..etc) will be duplicating hundreds of Riyad(s) jooan(s) Ahmed(s)…etc. at the end of the day. We will then suffer from the absence of the INDIVIDUALTY , PERSONAL IMAGE, or IDENTITY that distinguishes you from Nermine1 (or Sasha from Patyar).
